AI Processing Options
Control whether encrypted vault content is processed by AI for enrichment. Choose between maximum privacy (no AI processing) or convenience (AI enrichment with secure processing). The choice is per-vault and reversible.
How it works
Each encrypted vault has an AI processing toggle. When enabled, content is temporarily decrypted for AI processing in a secure enclave, then re-encrypted. When disabled, no AI processing occurs -- no summaries, no entity extraction, no search indexing beyond basic metadata. You can change the setting at any time and trigger retroactive processing if you enable it later.

Why it matters
The tradeoff between privacy and functionality is personal. Some users want maximum privacy and are willing to sacrifice AI features. Others want the full AI experience and trust the secure processing pipeline. AI processing options let you make this decision per vault, so your most sensitive content stays private while other content gets full enrichment.
