How it works
The quick-add bar is accessible from anywhere in the app with a keyboard shortcut. Type a thought, paste a link, or drop a file and it is instantly saved. For bulk capture, the batch creator lets you add multiple items in rapid succession. Anything that does not fit a specific format goes to the Inbox -- a staging area where you can triage and organize content when you have time.

Why it matters
Ideas are fleeting. If capturing a thought requires navigating menus, choosing a vault, and formatting content, most ideas will be lost. Quick capture removes all friction so the gap between thinking and recording is as close to zero as possible. You can always organize later -- the important thing is that nothing gets lost.
