Merge Duplicates

AI identifies potential duplicate entities -- different names for the same person, place, or concept -- and suggests merges. Review and merge with a click, consolidating all references automatically.

How it works

The deduplication engine compares entities by name similarity, shared context, and semantic overlap. When it finds likely duplicates -- 'Bob Smith' and 'Robert Smith' appearing in similar contexts -- it presents them for review. Merging combines all references, photos, and connections from both entities into one. The merge is reversible, and all original data is preserved.

Why it matters

Duplicate entities fragment your knowledge graph. If the same person exists as two separate entities, their connections are split and you only see half the picture when viewing either profile. Merge duplicates ensures a clean, consolidated knowledge graph where each real-world entity has exactly one comprehensive profile.
