Date Filtering
Filter search results by multiple date dimensions -- when the item was created, dates mentioned in the content, or dates of events described. Narrow results to specific time periods with precision.
How it works
Each knowledge item has multiple date dimensions: creation date, last modified date, and content dates extracted by AI (dates mentioned within the text). Search results can be filtered by any combination of these dimensions using date range pickers. Relative filters like 'last week' or 'last quarter' are also available. The calendar heatmap in Visual Explorer provides a visual date-based browsing experience.

Why it matters
Time is one of the strongest memory cues. You often remember roughly when something happened even if you cannot remember the details. Date filtering lets you leverage temporal memory to narrow down results. Combined with semantic search, you can find 'that architecture decision from Q3 last year' even without remembering any specific keywords.
