Nested Hierarchy
Organize vaults in a multi-level tree hierarchy. Child vaults inherit settings from parents but can override them. Mirror your real-world organizational structure with unlimited nesting depth.
How it works
Vaults can contain sub-vaults to any depth. A parent vault's settings -- AI model, enrichment preferences, sharing permissions -- cascade to children unless explicitly overridden. Moving a vault to a new parent automatically updates inherited settings. The tree view in the sidebar shows the full hierarchy with expand/collapse controls.

Why it matters
Flat organization breaks down at scale. When you have hundreds of items across multiple domains, a flat list of vaults becomes unmanageable. Nested hierarchy lets you organize naturally: Work > Project A > Research, Home > Recipes > Italian. Inheritance means you configure once at the top and everything below follows suit.
